I'm Jouejoue (they/them).

A mercurial creature, time-traveling medium, self-taught indie artist + dev imbuing reality with digital visions from the realms.

I've always been an independent creative floating through the orbit of spirit, art, & tech—and if we pretend my journey has been linear, it reads a bit like this:

1990s

I spawned on earth as a bald-headed baby.

2000s

I fell in love with the internet.
I learned to speak French.
I lost myself in computers and found myself in video games.
I napped deeply & often.
I traveled through novels to other worlds and through my imagination to other realms.

2019 - 2020

I tinkered with the UI/UX on the back of my wordpress website for fun.

I committed to a craft in the Curl Arts.

2021

I had "made it" but still felt so unlike myself, so when the Unknown called to me, I leapt.

I doodled for the first time in 12+ years with pen on paper.

2022

I traveled to Africa for the first time, broke my reality, then came back to the demon I was dating who introduced me to coding.

I traded my smock and shears for my gemini stellium and leaned into freelance operations strategy.

2023

I traveled back in time to liberate my inner kids from the matrix.

I took a Pepita Sandwich course and located my inner joy.

I met another medium, my first soulmate, and set off on a bizarre adventure together.

2024

I began dipping my toes in the coding waters, came across The Arcana Game, and channeled my first original character.

2025

I traveled to the future to enjoy candle-lit nights in the html/css portal and organically deployed the first iteration of my very own, hand-coded, personal website.

I invited new characters onto my Midnight Canvas, rekindled my heart for video games, and realized I desired to make one.

And I started writing smut.

2026

I'm back in the present now, channelling 2d digital characters, sharing monthly musings, and finding myself deep within the game development process as my debut novel comes into being.
